Yes. Contributors can charge any amount they wish for their courses. Hunger2Learn collects the funds, retains a small fee, and credits the developer’s account.

Contributors must comply with U.S. laws and with any laws that are unique to their country of origin. Hunger2Learn reserves the right to remove offending courses and, if necessary, bar offending developers from this site.

10. Is Hunger2Learn for serious instruction only?

No. Hunger2Learn is equally suitable for informal communication on topics such as humor, travel, satire, storytelling, entertainment, politics, religion, hobbies, and anything else you want to communicate.

15. If I don’t like a course can I get my money back?

No. But before you register for a course you can get a detailed description, see a complete course outline, and read the ratings and comments left by previous registrants.

16. How long can a Hunger2Learn course be?

As long as the developer wants it to be.

17. When someone pays to take a course, how much of the course fee does the developer get and how much does Hunger2Learn get?

For a basic course, Hunger2Learn will get $2 for each student who pays for the course and the developer will get the rest. A basic course contains up to about 35 pages of text, 20 minutes of video, and 25 graphics of normal size. A higher amount may be charged for longer courses. A course calculator is available to the developer to show the Hunger2Learn fee for any course at any time in its development. The developer never has to pay any money to create or publish a course. Hunger2Learn’s fee is always just subtracted from each student’s fee.

18. Who owns the content of Hunger2Learn courses?

Courses are owned by their developers. Hunger2Learn simply provides the development and hosting system.

19. How many courses can a developer offer?

Any number she or he wishes.

20. Is there an affiliate program that will let me use this software to set up my own online training site?

21. How can I become a Hunger2Learn developer?

Simple. All you need to do is register to use the system. Once you are registered, you will see a link to create a new course. After you have developed your course, any student will be able to register for it.

22. Are courses accessible for users with disabilities?

23. When will course developers be paid?

Yes. Hunger2Learn provides course developers with a reporting interface that tracks statistics such as how many students have registered, amount of time spent in the course, total course income, etc.

28. How long does it take to develop a course?

There are many factors that determine the length of time it takes to develop a course. If you have material ready to go, a basic course can be created in a few hours. Advanced courses with extensive pages, quizzes, exams, and multimedia will take longer to develop.

29. Is there a limit to the number of students that can take a course?

No. Hunger2Learn supports an unlimited amount of students for each course.
